Bemannia has been active within the manning business since 2002 but has a 30 year’s long history within the trade. The company has decided to join “Bemanningsföretagen” / Almega – the trade organization that is active within the trade. The company has also applied for authorization.

Already since the summer 2011, Bemannia has had meetings with “Bemanningsföretagen” to discuss a future membership and the decision was taken in the beginning of November that membership should be applied for. This happened long before the pressure from the trade unions began – especially the “ST-Facket” – that recently went berserk around Bemannia’s official customers. The customer’s have been accused of signing agreement with a company with no collective agreement and insinuated that there should be something wrong with their procurement. As “LOU” – the law about public procurement – is written today – it is not allowed to distinguish companies without collective agreement or without authorization – something that the union has shown no respect to whatsoever.

-It is unfortunate that our website is used as information source so it is possible to systematically contact the 31 municipalities, county councils and state corporations that we have agreement with today – and thereby question their procurement requirement and moral. These customers have absolutely followed the law meticulously and no shade should fall upon them – they have followed the frame work in force. -It should be even more unfortunate IF they paid attention to this and thereby chose suppliers that maybe were part of such agreements but didn’t fulfil the other requirements stated by the unions. This self regulation would then lead to that they would commit violation on the law themselves. This is something nobody would like our municipalities and authorities to be involved in.

-We now hope the “witch hunt” is over – from the 1st of January 2012, Bemannia is embodied by collective agreement and will continue the success story several years to come.

-We now hope for a good working atmosphere and that our fellow workers all over Sweden receive the good reception and appreciation they usually get, says Staffan Bruzelius, managing director at Bemannia.
